As NASA’s Perseverance rover gets ready to land on the Red Planet this week, Abigail Allwood has started to have “pinch me” moments.
Dr Allwood is the first woman and Australian to be a principal investigator on a Mars mission.
She admits she has tried to stay very low-key since Perseverance launched back in July.
