The girl on the horse is my grandmother, Leonora Eddington, later Leonora Carr (1894-1970). Behind her is her father, George Eddington (1846-1917). They are in front of George’s home, Jerdanefield, on the river at St Lucia, in 1903. George was then Queensland manager of the Bank of NSW. The house was still in use during World War II, but was later demolished and replaced by blocks of flats. There is a Jerdanefield St on the site.
